Wichard 2382W HR Safety Snap Hook 100mm 3-15/16" High Resistance Stainless Steel

The Wichard 2382W HR Safety Snap Hook is a large-format, high-strength snap hook engineered for demanding marine and onboard applications. Measuring 100mm (3-15/16") in length with a 17mm wire diameter, this hook delivers exceptional reliability in a clean, modern design built to last.

Manufactured from HR 17.4 PH (Precipitation Hardening) stainless steel — one of the strongest alloys available in marine hardware — this hook is hot forged and passivated for superior structural integrity and long-term corrosion resistance. The HR alloy designation denotes Wichard's top-tier material specification, a slightly magnetic martensitic stainless steel that provides outstanding tensile strength far exceeding standard 316L grade hooks.

Key Features:

• HR 17.4 PH stainless steel — high-resistance forged construction for maximum strength
• Hot forged and passivated — eliminates internal structural defects and protects against rust and oxidation
• 100mm (3-15/16") overall length with 17mm wire diameter
• Outstanding Safe Working Load (SWL) and Breaking Load (BL) ratings
