Interlux Toplac Plus is a silicone alkyd premium gloss yacht enamel designed for all substrates above the waterline. This professional-grade one-part topcoat delivers superior gloss and durability in a beautiful Ivory color, making it ideal for boats, marine equipment, and outdoor surfaces that demand both aesthetic appeal and weather protection.

Key Features:

  • Easy roller application without the need for tipping, simplifying the painting process
  • Contains UV filters for increased durability and long-lasting color retention
  • Advanced formula provides highly durable UV protection for longer-lasting gloss and color retention over time
  • Improved aesthetics over original Toplac in terms of Distinction Of Image (DOI) and flow
  • Coverage: approximately 489 square feet per gallon (12 m²/L)
  • Recommended coats: 2-3 applications for optimal results

Application Specifications:

  • Compatible substrates: Aluminum, zinc-galvanized steel, epoxy composite, carbon fiber, cast iron, GRP/FRP, lead, steel, wood, bronze, and stainless steel
  • Touch dry time: 3 hours at 15°C (59°F)
  • Overcoating window: Minimum 16 hours, maximum 3 days at 15°C
  • Application methods: Brush, roller, or spray

For best results, use Pre-Kote Plus primer followed by Toplac Plus to deliver a best-in-class topcoat system. This 1-quart size (YLK187/1QTUS) is perfect for smaller projects or touch-up work on marine vessels and outdoor equipment.
