This 4.0 generation features integrated Lift Assist gas struts that absorb virtually all the weight of the step assembly, allowing you to raise or lower the steps with just one hand — no strain, no struggle. An 8" step rise promotes a comfortable, natural climbing motion, while the 13" XL top tread depth provides an extra-wide, stable platform at the entry point. The Solid Step 4.0 folds securely up into the RV's entryway when not in use, keeping the assembly protected from the elements during transit. Sizing Note: Measure inside edge to inside edge of your entry door frame, rounding up to the nearest even number. This 26" model fits entry widths from 25" to 28.9". There must be at least 3/8" clearance from the bottom of the entry and screen doors to the top of the threshold to allow room for the hinge plate.
