Product Details

The Suburban Mfg 523009 RV Type 1 ACME Nut Pigtail is a propane supply hose designed to connect LP gas cylinders to two-stage regulators in RV and motorhome applications. Featuring a Type 1 ACME Nut on one end and a 1/4" Male Pipe Thread (MPT) on the other, this pigtail provides a reliable, leak-resistant connection between your propane tank and regulator system.

This pigtail is engineered for use with double-stage automatic changeover regulators in two-cylinder setups, or with standard two-stage regulators equipped with "T" check connections.

Key Features:

  • Type 1 ACME Nut connection — large external threading for easy, hand-tighten installation without tools
  • 1/4" I.D. hose with 1/4" Male Pipe Thread (MPT) outlet
  • Excess Flow Device — automatically limits gas flow in the event of hose rupture or accidental disconnection
  • Thermofuse — heat-sensitive safety plug that shuts off gas flow if temperature exceeds 240°F
  • UL Listed assembly and CSA approved hose for verified safety and quality compliance
  • Compatible with double-stage automatic changeover regulators for dual-cylinder propane systems
  • Compatible with standard two-stage regulators with "T" check connections

Suburban Mfg is a trusted manufacturer of RV LP gas accessories, and this pigtail hose meets industry safety standards to keep your propane system operating safely and efficiently.

shopping from thmotorsports was an easy, enjoyable process. The items came fairly quick and were exactly what the product looked like while shopping.

Have not had time to install, I will let you know how it turns out. Thanks

Ordered it, came it good time, was the right one, put in my car, now it's working like a beauty. Couldn't ask for anything different

Your online system would not allow me to put my Alaska address for billing, even though the order was to be shipped to Texas. I sent repeated emails requesting a phone call and no one would call me or provide me a number to call.

all good

There was one speaker grid missing.. It was apparent that the box had been opened previously. Please forward this to customer service - would request that missing mesh grid be sent to me. Thank you

Very satisfied with THMotorsports : ) They had the part I needed in stock, at a very reasonable price, and they shipped it out extremely fast. I will be doing more business with them!

great!
