The Suburban Mfg 523016 is a brass Excess Flow POL Adapter Fitting designed for use in liquid propane (LP) gas systems. This fitting serves as a connection adapter between POL-style propane supply valves and downstream LP appliances or regulators, with a built-in excess flow safety feature that restricts or shuts off gas flow in the event of an abnormal downstream pressure drop or line rupture.

Key Features:

• Constructed from durable, corrosion-resistant brass for long service life
• Excess flow safety valve integrated into the fitting to help prevent uncontrolled gas release
• POL (Prest-O-Lite) connection compatible with standard propane cylinder and tank valves
• Designed for use in RV, marine, and recreational propane systems
• Manufactured by Suburban Mfg, a trusted name in RV heating and appliance components

This adapter is an important safety and connectivity component in LP gas plumbing systems. It is engineered to meet the demands of mobile and recreational propane installations, providing a reliable, leak-resistant connection while offering an added layer of protection through its excess flow mechanism.
