Sea-Dog Line 8014020 14 AWG Marine Primary Wire Red 25 Foot

Sea-Dog Line 8014020 Marine Primary Wire

The Sea-Dog Line 8014020 is a high-quality 14 AWG red primary wire designed specifically for marine electrical applications. This 25-foot spool of marine-grade wiring provides reliable electrical connectivity in the harsh marine environment where moisture, salt spray, and vibration are constant challenges.

Key Features:

• Tinned Copper Stranding: Features tinned copper conductors that resist corrosion in marine environments, significantly extending wire life compared to bare copper
• 14 AWG Gauge: Suitable for moderate current applications including navigation lights, bilge pumps, and accessory circuits
• Marine-Grade Construction: Built to meet or exceed ABYC (American Boat and Yacht Council) standards for marine electrical systems
• Red Color Coding: Industry-standard red insulation for easy identification of positive DC circuits
• Flexible Stranded Design: Multiple fine copper strands provide flexibility for routing through tight spaces while maintaining conductivity
• 25-Foot Length: Convenient spool length for typical marine electrical projects and repairs

Applications:

Ideal for new installations or repairs on boats, yachts, and other watercraft. Use for connecting accessories, navigation equipment, bilge pumps, lighting circuits, and other 12V DC systems. The tinned copper construction makes this wire particularly well-suited for below-deck installations where moisture exposure is inevitable.
