Hot Shot's Secret LX4 Lubricity Extreme is a premium fuel lubricity additive engineered for both Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) and gasoline. Formulated to combat the damaging effects of low-lubricity "dry fuel," LX4 reduces the ASTM D-6079 wear scar by up to 56% in un-additized ULSD, exceeding the lubricity recommendations set by both the U.S. Government and the Engine Manufacturers Association (EMA).

Modern ULSD fuel has significantly reduced natural lubricity compared to older diesel formulations. The sulfur-removal process also strips away oxygen and nitrogen compounds that contributed to natural fuel lubrication — leaving fuel pumps, injectors, and upper cylinder components vulnerable to accelerated wear. LX4 Lubricity Extreme restores and enhances that lost protection, helping to prevent metal wear, scarring, and the downstream damage caused by debris circulating through the fuel system.

Storage Note: Store above 32°F. If product freezes, thaw completely, mix thoroughly, and use as directed. When blended with diesel fuel, freezing does not affect the fuel's cold-weather performance properties.
