The AIMS Power EMS18A Energy Management Switch is a cost-effective power management solution designed for applications where two loads share a single 20A branch circuit powered by an inverter, shore power, or generator. By intelligently monitoring and managing current draw, the EMS prevents nuisance circuit breaker trips without requiring costly electrical upgrades.

The EMS features one input and two outputs. The primary (priority) load is wired to Circuit A and remains powered at all times. The secondary load is wired to Circuit B and is automatically shed when total current demand approaches the circuit limit. Once consumption drops back below the preset threshold of approximately 5A, power to the secondary load is automatically restored — no manual intervention required.
