Suburban Mfg 4609A Stow Away 4-Step Narrow RV Entry Stairs with Lift Assist Black 26"-30"

The Suburban Mfg 4609A Stow Away 4-Step Narrow RV Entry Stairs with Lift Assist is a premium folding staircase designed for RV entry doors in the narrow 26" to 30" width range. Built by Suburban, an Airxcel brand, this black stair assembly combines practical access with an integrated gas strut lift assist mechanism, making it significantly easier to deploy and stow your steps — especially for a heavy 4-step unit.

The lift assist system uses gas struts to counterbalance the weight of the stairs, allowing you to raise and lower the assembly with minimal effort. This is a notable advantage over standard folding steps, reducing physical strain during setup and breakdown at the campsite.

Key Features:

• 4-Step Configuration — Provides safe, comfortable access to higher RV entry doors
• Narrow Width — Designed to fit RV entry door openings from 26" to 30"
• Integrated Lift Assist — Gas strut mechanism reduces effort required to raise and lower the stair assembly
• Non-Slip Treads — Slotted tread design prevents water pooling and allows dirt to fall through, keeping steps clean and safe
• Independently Adjustable Leveling Legs — Quick-adjust legs with 1/4" increment settings allow for a precise, level stepping surface on uneven terrain
• Fixed-Center Threshold Plate — Enables easy, self-locking installation to the RV doorframe
• Easy Stow Latch — Improved latch design for fast and secure folding and storage
• Black Finish — Durable, weather-resistant black color
• Lightweight Design — Lighter than comparable steps for easier handling

Suburban's Stow Away Steps are engineered with a focus on user safety and convenience, making them a reliable upgrade for RV owners looking for a more functional and durable entry stair solution. Backed by a one-year limited warranty from the original retail purchase date.
