HAZET 16574 S25 Fifth Wheel Slider Tool for Semi-Truck Coupling Systems

The CURT S25 5th Wheel Slider (16574) is a heavy-duty sliding 5th wheel hitch designed to give short-bed truck owners the turning clearance they need when towing a 5th wheel trailer. Built from carbon steel with a durable carbide black powder coat finish, the S25 delivers long-lasting performance and reliable strength in the truck bed.

The slider moves the 5th wheel coupling point 12 inches rearward, providing the extra clearance needed to make sharp turns without the trailer contacting the cab. Its solid, low-noise construction eliminates chucking in the towing position and promotes smooth, binding-free travel between forward and rearward positions.

Key Features:

• 25,000 lb gross trailer weight (GTW) rating — tested to SAE J2638 safety specifications
• Auto-latching mechanism — automatically locks into place in both directions; only requires exiting the truck once during hookup
• Ergonomic lift-style lever — accessible from outside the truck bed wall; more user-friendly than traditional pull-out levers
• 12" rearward travel — provides essential turning clearance for short-bed pickup trucks
• Industry-standard mounting points — compatible with all standard 5th wheel base rails and CURT puck system adapters
• Carbon steel construction with carbide black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance
• Comes fully assembled — no drilling required for installation
• Limited lifetime warranty (one-year finish, one-year parts)

The S25 ships fully assembled for fast, straightforward installation. Note: Hitch head and rails are sold separately. Not compatible with X5 adapters.
