CURT 51200 Echo In-Line Bluetooth Electric Trailer Brake Controller Proportional

The CURT 51200 Echo In-Line Trailer Brake Controller is a Bluetooth-enabled, proportional brake controller designed to be permanently mounted behind the vehicle's 7-way connector. It wires directly into the existing 7-way harness and pairs wirelessly with your smartphone, eliminating the need for any in-cab display, extra modules, or additional controls.

Using the free OneControl Auto app (available for Apple iOS and Android OS), you can monitor brake activity, receive real-time status alerts, adjust brake settings, and create multiple saved profiles for different trailers and load conditions — all from your phone.

Key Features:

• Bluetooth Smartphone Control — Wirelessly manage all brake settings and activity from the OneControl Auto app
• Triple-Axis Motion-Sensing Accelerometer — Proportional braking technology delivers smooth, responsive stops on flat ground and inclines
• Plug-In Installation — Connects behind the existing 7-way RV blade socket via USCAR connectors; no cab wiring required
• Waterproof Enclosure — Sealed housing protects internal circuits from moisture, road debris, and the elements
• Supports 2–8 Trailer Brakes — Compatible with 1 to 4 axle configurations
• Multiple Trailer Profiles — Save and switch between profiles for different trailers and load conditions
• Fail-Safe Operation — If Bluetooth connection is lost, the controller continues to operate using the last programmed settings
• Broad System Compatibility — Works with low-voltage, PWM, ABS, and cruise control-equipped vehicles
• Built-In Protections — Reverse-polarity protection and short-circuit protection included
• Multi-Color LED Indicator — Provides visual feedback for setup status and error notifications
• Sleep Mode — Reduces power consumption when not in active use

The CURT Echo In-Line controller is backed by a limited lifetime warranty and is FCC compliant. Note: not compatible with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, though it will not interfere with either system. Available for North America and Australia markets only.
