CMP CDL5840BK Double Braid Nylon Dock Line 5/8in x 40ft Black

The CMP Cordage CDL5840BK is a 5/8-inch diameter by 40-foot double braid nylon dock line in black, built for reliable mooring and docking of larger vessels. The double braid construction combines an inner braid core with an outer braid jacket, delivering exceptional strength, shock absorption, and a soft, easy-to-handle feel.

Key Features:

• Double braid nylon construction — easy to handle, coil, and splice
• UV resistant — withstands prolonged sun and weather exposure
• Abrasion resistant — twisted twill yarn construction creates a dense, durable surface that resists wear at cleats and chocks
• Rot and mildew resistant — nylon resists most chemicals and will not rot or mildew in wet marine environments
• Exceeds Cordage Institute standards for tensile strength
• 5/8-inch diameter x 40-foot length — sized for boats typically in the 35–45 foot range
• Black color — clean, low-visibility finish ideal for a professional dock setup
• Includes a heavy-duty reusable storage strap for easy organization and storage

Nylon's natural elasticity absorbs surge and shock loads at the dock, protecting both your boat and cleats from sudden stress. The CDL5840BK is a dependable choice for docklines, mooring lines, and anchor rodes where strength and durability are essential.
