Product Details

The CMP CMDIVERM is a magnesium replacement hull anode designed exclusively for use in fresh water environments. This anode is a direct replacement for the popular Diver's Dream bolt-on hull anode system, providing reliable galvanic corrosion protection for your boat's underwater metal components.

Magnesium anodes are the preferred choice for fresh water applications because of their higher driving voltage, which allows them to remain active in the lower-conductivity conditions found in lakes and rivers where zinc anodes are insufficient.

Key Features:

  • Material: Magnesium — optimal for fresh water corrosion protection
  • Dimensions: 12 inches long x 6 inches wide x 1/2 inch height
  • Application: For use in fresh water only — not suitable for salt or brackish water
  • Design: Bolt-on hull mount — compatible with Diver's Dream hull anode bracket systems
  • Purpose: Sacrificial anode that protects hull fittings, drives, and underwater metals from galvanic corrosion

Replace this anode when it has depleted to approximately 50% of its original size to ensure continuous protection. Important: This magnesium anode is for fresh water use only. Using magnesium anodes in salt water will cause them to deplete too rapidly and may leave your vessel unprotected.
