CMP CME00 Zinc Pencil Anode with Plug 1/8 NPT x 1/4" OD x 2.06" Marine Engine Cooling

The CMP CME00 is a zinc pencil anode designed for use in saltwater marine environments. Engineered to protect engine cooling system components from galvanic corrosion, this pencil-style sacrificial anode installs directly into the engine block or heat exchanger via a standard 1/8" NPT threaded plug, making replacement straightforward without the need for special tools.

Zinc is the preferred sacrificial anode material for saltwater applications, corroding preferentially to protect surrounding metals such as aluminum, steel, and cast iron from electrochemical attack. Regular inspection and replacement of pencil anodes is a critical part of marine engine maintenance.

Key Features:

• Material: Zinc — ideal for saltwater use
• Includes plug: 1/8" NPT threaded brass plug for secure installation
• Anode dimensions: 1/4" outside diameter x 2.06" length
• Thread size: 1/8" NPT
• Application: Engine cooling system protection
• Environment: Saltwater use only
• Style: Pencil anode (sacrificial/replaceable)

The CMP CME00 pencil anode is a direct-fit sacrificial zinc anode built to CMP's marine-grade specifications. Keeping fresh anodes in your engine's cooling passages helps prevent costly corrosion damage to internal engine components, extending the service life of your marine engine.
