Product Details

The CMP CME1E is a zinc pencil anode designed to protect marine engine cooling systems from galvanic corrosion in saltwater environments. Installed directly into the engine block or heat exchanger via a standard 3/8 inch NPT threaded plug, this sacrificial anode actively attracts corrosive electrochemical activity away from critical engine metal components.

Key Features:

  • Material: High-purity zinc — the standard sacrificial metal for saltwater applications
  • Thread Size: 3/8 inch NPT threaded plug for easy installation and removal
  • Dimensions: 1/2 inch outside diameter x 1-1/2 inch length
  • Design: Pencil-style anode with integrated plug for a clean, secure fit
  • Application: Designed exclusively for saltwater use in marine engine cooling systems

Zinc pencil anodes like the CME1E should be inspected regularly and replaced when approximately 50% consumed to maintain continuous corrosion protection. The included NPT plug allows for tool-free or minimal-tool replacement during routine engine maintenance.

Simple order process. Arrived amazingly fast. Thanks

Good job

Had a great experience with no issues even when I had to return item

Easy to use

Simple and quick

The only thing that didn't go very well was the time it took to receive the 2nd part of my order. I paid extra for 2 day shipping. It took closer to 6 days to receive my CDI switch box.

Product as advertised. Delivery as promised.

I've had a really good experience dealing with Boat Plecity The product they sent me is exactly what I ordered. I have installed it and it works perfectly. Thank you again.
