The CMP CMEZ1H is a zinc pencil anode designed to protect engine cooling systems from galvanic corrosion in saltwater environments. Acting as a sacrificial anode, it corrodes preferentially to protect expensive metal engine components such as heat exchangers, cylinder blocks, and cooling passages.
