Product Details

The CMP CMX03 is a zinc streamlined shaft anode designed exclusively for saltwater use, providing reliable galvanic corrosion protection for boat propeller shafts and rudders. Engineered in a low-profile, hydrodynamic streamlined form, it minimizes drag while maintaining maximum sacrificial protection.

Key Features:

  • Material: High-purity zinc alloy — ideal for saltwater environments
  • Design: Streamlined / hydrodynamic profile reduces underwater drag on shaft or rudder
  • Inner Diameter: 1.00 inch
  • Outer Diameter: 2.16 inches
  • Height: 2.15 inches
  • Construction: Interlocking two-piece halves for easy installation and replacement without shaft removal
  • Application: For use on streamlined shaft and rudder assemblies
  • Environment: Saltwater use only — zinc anodes are not recommended for fresh or brackish water

The interlocking split-half design allows the anode to clamp directly around the propeller shaft, making installation straightforward without the need to disassemble the drivetrain. Regular replacement of shaft anodes like the CMX03 is essential to preventing costly corrosion damage to underwater metal components including shafts, propellers, struts, and rudders.

The part is as advertised and is an exact fit. Very fast shipping with great communication. Will use them again when I need boat parts.
