Product Details

The CMP CMX30AL is a streamlined aluminum sacrificial shaft anode engineered to protect boat propeller shafts and rudders from galvanic corrosion. Aluminum alloy construction makes this anode the preferred choice for use in salt and brackish water environments, offering greater electrochemical efficiency than traditional zinc anodes.

Designed with interlocking halves, the CMX30AL clamps securely around the shaft with full 360° circular contact, eliminating gaps that can reduce protective coverage. The streamlined profile minimizes drag and turbulence while the vessel is underway.

Key Features:

  • Material: High-purity aluminum alloy — recommended for salt and brackish water use
  • Inner Diameter: 1.18 inches (30mm) shaft bore
  • Outer Diameter: 2.4 inches
  • Height: 2.4 inches
  • Design: Interlocking two-piece halves for easy installation and replacement
  • Streamlined profile reduces hydrodynamic drag while underway
  • Alloy meets or exceeds US Military Specification MIL-A-24779 (SH) for aluminum anodes
  • Provides cathodic protection for propeller shafts, rudders, and associated hardware

Also referenced by part numbers X-30AL, X30AL, AMDX-30, CM30A. This aluminum shaft anode is part of the CMP Martyr anode lineup, trusted by boaters for reliable, long-lasting sacrificial corrosion protection.

Ordering was easy and product delivered on time

The unit looks great and shipment was on point. Thanks!

Fast ship. Will install today Thanks

Great price. Over 150 cheaper per tire than elsewhere and we didnt do 2 day shipping and still had them at our house 3 business days later.

Really painless transaction. My item arrived essentially on time (a slight delay from the estimated delivery date - but THM was all over it, touching base with updates before I even had to reach out). My order arrived in working order and packaged well. I will definitely order from them again!
