CMP CMZ04AZ Zinc Streamlined Hull Anode with Aluminum Strap Weld-On 6 x 3-1/2 Inch

The CMP CMZ04AZ is a zinc sacrificial hull anode designed for weld-on installation on streamlined hull profiles. Engineered specifically for saltwater use, this anode delivers reliable cathodic protection by sacrificing itself to prevent galvanic corrosion on underwater metals including the hull, keel, rudder, and associated hardware.

The anode body features a streamlined shape optimized to minimize drag on the hull while maintaining maximum protective surface area. An integrated aluminum mounting strap runs through the anode body, providing a secure weld-on attachment point. Bolt holes can be added to the straps as required for alternative or supplemental attachment.

Key Features:

• Zinc sacrificial anode construction for saltwater corrosion protection
• Streamlined hull profile design minimizes hydrodynamic drag
• Aluminum strap insert for weld-on attachment
• Dimensions: 6 inch length x 3-1/2 inch width x 1 inch height
• Bolt holes can be field-added to straps as needed
• Protective backing available for enhanced performance
• Also known as: Z-4A, Z04A, CMZ04, CMZ04Z

Zinc anodes are the recommended choice for saltwater environments where they provide the ideal electrochemical potential to protect steel, stainless steel, and other underwater metals. Replace the anode when it has corroded to less than 50% of its original weight to maintain continuous protection.
