Product Details

The Strattec BOLT 5922986 Spare Tire Lock is a vehicle-specific locking lug nut designed to secure the rear-mounted spare tire on Jeep Wrangler models. Using BOLT's Breakthrough One-Key Lock Technology, the lock permanently programs itself to your existing Jeep ignition key the very first time it is inserted and turned — no separate or extra keys required.

The lock replaces one standard 1/2"-20 thread lug nut on the spare wheel with a hardened stainless steel threaded lug nut pin, securing the spare tire and wheel directly to the carrier. It is compatible with OEM wheels and most aftermarket alloy wheels with an internal lug nut depth of 1" to 1-1/4".

Key Features:

  • Programs automatically to your Jeep ignition key — no additional keys needed
  • Replaces one 1/2"-20 thread lug nut with a stainless steel threaded pin
  • Compatible with OEM and most aftermarket alloy wheels (1" to 1-1/4" lug nut well depth)
  • Auto-return spring locks automatically when key is removed
  • 6-plate tumbler sidebar resists picking and bumping
  • Automotive-grade stainless steel lock shutter keeps out weather and debris
  • Rugged lock jacket protects lock body from impact and road hazards
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty

The BOLT 5922986 is an easy bolt-on solution that installs in minutes, helping protect your spare tire and wheel from theft without adding extra keys to your keyring.

Delivered as promised!

THMotorsports always has the lowest prices and shipping. Just completed my second order with them and will continue to purchase from them. Shipping on first order was quick and left their building the day after ordering.

The item I bought was one to replace something I thought I had accidentally thrown away. A couple days after the boatplicity item arrived I located the like item I already had. I initiated the return process with boatplicity, as I no longer had need of the item. I completed the return request stuff and it said I would be contacted to continue the process but no one has contacted me.

The picture did not match what I purchased. Only part number and description were correct.

Very satisfied with THMotorsports : ) They had the part I needed in stock, at a very reasonable price, and they shipped it out extremely fast. I will be doing more business with them!
