Product Details

The HAZET 52010 Breakaway Switch is a critical trailer safety component designed to automatically activate the trailer's electric brakes in the event of an accidental separation from the tow vehicle. When the trailer breaks away, the lanyard pulls the switch pin free, triggering the braking system and bringing the runaway trailer to a controlled stop — helping prevent accidents and property damage.

Key Features:

  • Activates trailer electric brakes automatically upon trailer separation
  • Durable construction engineered to HAZET's professional-grade standards
  • Compact, reliable switch mechanism for consistent performance
  • Compatible with standard electric trailer brake systems
  • Easy to mount and connect to existing trailer wiring

The HAZET 52010 is an essential safety device for any trailer equipped with electric brakes. Proper installation of a breakaway switch is required by law in many jurisdictions for trailers above a certain weight rating. Pair with a fully charged breakaway battery for complete system readiness.

Simple quick and easy

Ordered it, came it good time, was the right one, put in my car, now it's working like a beauty. Couldn't ask for anything different

Easy purchase, came in a timely matter. Had came in two different days but still no problem.

Ordered 4 winter tires, which were affordable and in brand new condition. Shipping was fast. 5 star service.

Everything was fine, but UPS delivery my order several days late. Pretty common inmy area.
