The CMP CM589150KITA is a mil-spec aluminum sacrificial anode kit designed specifically for the Lewmar 140TT bow thruster. This replacement anode protects your thruster's bronze hub from galvanic corrosion in salt and brackish water environments, extending the service life of your underwater drive components.
Aluminum anodes are more electrochemically active than zinc, making them effective across a wider range of water conditions including salt, brackish, and fresh water. The kit includes the anode itself, a stainless steel sheath for optimal retention, and mounting hardware for a complete, ready-to-install solution.
Key Features:
- Aluminum construction — mil-spec alloy for superior galvanic protection
- Suitable for use in salt and brackish water conditions
- Stainless steel insert/sheath for secure retention and extended service life
- Large accessible nut for easy replacement, even with the boat in the water
- Mounting hardware included — no additional hardware required
- Dimensions: 1/2 in. inner diameter × 1-1/2 in. outer diameter × 1/2 in. height
- Weight: 0.222 lbs (0.101 kg)
