Wichard 2976W Medium Anchor Swivel 5/16" - 1/2" 316L Stainless Steel

The Wichard 2976W Medium Anchor Swivel is a premium 316L stainless steel anchor swivel engineered to simplify anchoring operations and reduce hassle when retrieving the hook. Forged from marine-grade 316L stainless steel, this swivel delivers outstanding corrosion resistance and long-term durability in saltwater environments.

The swivel's standout feature is its self-aligning design: as the anchor is hoisted, it automatically orients itself correctly in the bow roller — even if it comes up in the wrong direction — eliminating manual repositioning and streamlining the anchoring process.

Key Features:

• Compatible with anchor chains from 5/16" to 1/2" (8mm to 12mm), including 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2" sizes
• Self-aligning design automatically positions the anchor correctly in the bow roller
• Optimized dimensions for compatibility with most modern anchors on the market
• Forged 316L stainless steel construction for exceptional strength and corrosion resistance
• Suitable for permanent immersion and demanding marine conditions
• Designed and manufactured by Wichard, a trusted French marine hardware brand

The Wichard 2976W is the medium size in the Wichard anchor swivel lineup, sitting between the 2975W (small, 1/4"–5/16") and the 2977W (large, 1/2"–5/8"). It is an ideal upgrade for sailors and boaters looking to improve anchoring efficiency and reduce wear on their ground tackle.
