Wichard 2977W Large Anchor Swivel 1/2" - 9/16" 316L Stainless Steel

The Wichard 2977W Large Anchor Swivel is a premium marine-grade swivel engineered to simplify anchoring operations and eliminate the frustration of a misaligned anchor at the bow roller. Designed and manufactured by Wichard in France, this swivel is forged from 316L stainless steel for exceptional strength and long-term corrosion resistance, including suitability for permanent immersion in saltwater environments.

Key Features:

• Compatible with 1/2" and 9/16" anchor chain (12mm and 14mm)
• Self-aligning design ensures the anchor seats correctly in the bow roller every time — even if it surfaces in the wrong orientation
• Optimized dimensions for a low-profile fit with most standard bow rollers
• Compatible with the vast majority of anchors on the market
• Forged 316L stainless steel construction for superior strength and corrosion resistance
• Designed for permanent immersion and continuous offshore use

The Wichard 2977W anchor swivel is the large model in Wichard's anchor swivel lineup, stepping up from the medium 2976W. It is ideal for bluewater cruisers, offshore sailors, and powerboaters running heavier ground tackle who need a reliable, self-aligning connection between their anchor and chain.
