Maxwell RODE39 Anchor Rode 1/2" x 150' 8-Plait Nylon with 6' 1/4" Galvanized Chain

The Maxwell RODE39 is a complete anchor rode assembly combining 150 feet of 1/2-inch 8-plait nylon rope with a 6-foot, 1/4-inch galvanized chain leader. Designed to work seamlessly with Maxwell windlasses, this ready-to-deploy rode delivers the ideal balance of chain weight at the anchor end and the shock-absorbing flexibility of nylon throughout the line.

The nylon rope portion features Maxwell's Nylon Brait™ 8-strand construction, engineered through a specialized braid process that produces a firm strand formation for reliable windlass grip-hold while maintaining full stowage flexibility. The 8-strand plait design provides superior energy absorption compared to 3-strand rope, reducing snatch loads on cleats, windlasses, and anchor gear in surge or wave action.
