Airmar B60-12-9N B60 Bronze Thru-Hull Transducer 12° Tilt 9-Pin Xsonic

The Airmar B60-12-9N is a bronze thru-hull depth and temperature transducer (also called a thru-hull sonar transducer or depth sounder transducer). It is built for Navico Lowrance and Simrad displays that use a 9-pin Xsonic connector. It is a 600 W, 50/200 kHz transducer with Airmar's Tilted Element feature. The ceramic element is fixed at a 12° angle inside the housing.

Key Features:

• Depth and fast-response water temperature sensing
• 600 W of power with a dual-frequency 50/200 kHz element
• 50 kHz with a wide 45° beamwidth for depth performance to 1,200 ft (353 m)
• 200 kHz with a 12° beamwidth for depth performance to 700 ft (206 m)
• Fixed 12° tilted element compensates for 8° to 15° hull deadrise angles
• Low-profile bronze housing extends only 3/16 in (5 mm) outside the hull, so it has no effect on running performance
• Bronze housing suited to fiberglass or wood hulls
• Cable length: 33 ft (10 m)
• Connector: Navico 9-pin Xsonic (Lowrance and Simrad)
• Hole size: 2-3/8 in (60 mm)
• Usable shaft length: approx. 2.70 in (68.5 mm)

The tilted element points the beam straight down when the transducer is mounted nearly flush to the hull. This gives stronger echo returns and more accurate depth readings without a fairing. It suits center-console and trailered boats up to about 25 ft (8 m).
