YakGear AG1B Grapnel Anchor 1.5lb Bulk - Folding Tine Kayak & Canoe Anchor

The YakGear AG1B Grapnel Anchor is a compact, lightweight anchoring solution built for kayaks, canoes, and small watercraft. Constructed from galvanized steel for corrosion resistance, this 1.5 lb anchor delivers reliable holding power in rivers, lakes, and slower-moving water without adding unnecessary weight to your vessel.

Designed with four 3.5-inch folding tines, the anchor collapses flat for compact storage and deploys quickly when you're ready to set anchor. The heavy head design promotes faster submersion, reducing wait time until the anchor reaches the bottom — especially useful in deeper water. This is the bulk (anchor only) version — rope and storage bag are sold separately.

Key Features:

• Galvanized steel construction for durability and corrosion resistance
• 1.5 lb anchor weight — ideal for kayaks, canoes, and small boats
• Four folding 3.5-inch tines for easy, compact storage
• Heavy head design promotes faster submersion in deeper water
• Bulk packaging — anchor only (rope not included)

Anchor Rope Tip: In calm water, use a rope length at least 3 times the water depth. In choppy water or windy conditions, use 4–5 times the water depth for optimal hold. Anchor rope is available separately.
