Hot Shot's Secret Diesel Winter Anti-Gel is a fully formulated 7-in-1 diesel fuel additive engineered to protect diesel engines from the damaging effects of cold weather. This 16 oz. bottle treats up to 125 gallons of diesel fuel and lowers the cold filter plugging point (CFPP) of standard diesel, providing protection down to -65°F — keeping fuel flowing freely through lines, filters, and pumps even in extreme winter conditions.
Unlike single-purpose anti-gel products, the 7-in-1 formula delivers a comprehensive upgrade to diesel fuel quality in a single treatment, addressing gelling, icing, lubricity, detergency, stability, cetane rating, and cold-weather operability all at once.
Key Features:
- Extreme Cold Protection: Lowers diesel fuel pour point to -65°F, preventing gelling and wax crystal formation in fuel lines and filters
- Cetane Booster: Increases cetane number by up to 4 points for improved power, throttle response, and cold start performance
- De-Icer: Disperses moisture and de-ices frozen fuel filters to restore fuel flow to the engine
- LX4 Lubricity Additive: Adds essential lubricity to protect fuel system components and extend engine life
- Keep-Clean Detergent Package: Improves fuel detergency to help clean and maintain fuel injectors
- Fuel Stability: Enhances the overall stability of diesel fuel during cold storage and operation
- Universal Compatibility: Suitable for all diesel engines including Dodge Cummins, GM Duramax, Ford Powerstroke, semi trucks, marine, agriculture, and standard automotive applications
Treatment Ratio: 1 oz per 8 gallons of diesel fuel. The 16 oz. bottle treats up to 125 gallons of standard #2 diesel or B20 biodiesel blend. For severe conditions below 0°F, a double dose is recommended.
Storage Note: Minimum recommended storage temperature is 32°F. Safe for use in all diesel fuel tanks, fuel cans, and storage tanks.
