Megaware KeelGuard 27141 SkegGuard Stainless Steel Replacement Skeg for Suzuki Outboards

The Megaware SkegGuard 27141 is a marine-grade stainless steel skeg protector and replacement guard designed for select Suzuki outboard motors. Whether you need to protect an intact skeg from future damage or restore a lower unit with a broken skeg, the SkegGuard delivers a durable, cost-effective solution that saves hundreds of dollars compared to professional repair or lower unit replacement.

Key Features:

• Constructed from high-quality marine-grade 316 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance
• Features an extra-reinforced 3mm wear tab along the bottom edge — the area most vulnerable to impact
• Withstands damage and abrasion from hidden rocks, submerged debris, and accidental ramp dragging
• Contoured profile conforms precisely to the lower unit — no discernible drag or performance loss
• Built-in drain hole prevents water from collecting and becoming stagnant, reducing corrosion risk
• Secured with self-locking hardware — installs with common tools in under 10 minutes
• Can be installed on a lower unit with as little as 2 inches of original skeg remaining
• Stronger and more affordable than welding or professional skeg replacement
• Backed by a 3-year limited warranty from Megaware KeelGuard

Compatible Suzuki Models:

• Suzuki 150, 175, 200, 225 HP — 2-Stroke (1986–2002)
