The Quicksilver 879345T44 is a complete, genuine OEM gearcase housing assembly engineered specifically for the Mercury MerCruiser Zeus 3000 Pod drive system. Featuring a 1.478:1 gear ratio, this assembly is a direct factory replacement designed to restore full drivetrain integrity to Zeus Pod-equipped vessels. This is not an aftermarket part — it is a Mercury Marine original equipment component manufactured to exacting factory tolerances.
The Zeus Pod drive system uses counter-rotating, through-hub exhaust propellers mounted beneath the hull, and the gearcase is the heart of that propulsion system. Replacing a worn or damaged gearcase with a genuine OEM assembly ensures proper gear mesh, correct ratio performance, and long-term reliability under demanding marine conditions.
Key Features:
As an authorized Quicksilver OEM component, the 879345T44 delivers the factory-level precision and durability expected from Mercury Marine. Proper installation by a certified Mercury Marine technician is recommended for this assembly.
Shopping at checkout was really easy, but I haven't installed the product yet so I can't give a proper review
