Martyr Anodes CME2S Zinc Pencil Anode Complete with Brass Plug 5/8" x 1-5/8"

The Martyr Anodes CME2S is a complete zinc pencil anode assembly designed for marine engine cooling system corrosion protection. This complete unit includes both the zinc sacrificial anode and a 1/2" NPT brass plug, making it a direct drop-in replacement for engine block pencil anode ports.

Key Features:

• Complete assembly — includes zinc anode and 1/2" NPT brass plug ready for installation
• Dimensions: 5/8" anode diameter x 1-5/8" anode length with 7/16" UNC thread
• Zinc alloy construction — manufactured to US Military Specification MIL-A-18001K for consistent, reliable performance
• Pressure diecast production through an ISO 9001 Quality Management System ensures dimensional accuracy and alloy consistency
• Meets or exceeds OEM specifications — a direct replacement for original equipment pencil anodes
• Zinc is the recommended material for pencil anodes — aluminum alternatives can break at the neck and block engine coolant passages
• Suitable for saltwater and brackish water environments

Martyr CME series pencil anodes protect marine engine cooling systems by sacrificially corroding in place of more expensive metal components. Regular replacement of pencil anodes is one of the most cost-effective ways to extend engine life in a marine environment. Cross-reference: KMS Part# MTR CME2S, DMP Part# 23894.
