Product Details

The CMP Martyr CMC03AL is a 1-inch aluminum limited clearance collar shaft anode engineered to provide reliable cathodic protection for inboard boat propeller shafts in salt and brackish water environments. Designed specifically for installations where space around the shaft is restricted, this anode delivers full corrosion protection without requiring extra clearance room.

Key Features:

  • Material: Aluminum alloy — formulated to meet or exceed U.S. Military Specification (MIL-A-24779)
  • Dimensions: Inner Diameter (ID) – 1" (25mm) | Outer Diameter (OD) – 2.5" (63mm) | Height – 1.25" (32mm)
  • Interlocking halves for a secure, full-contact fit around the propeller shaft
  • Extra alloy material around fasteners extends usable service life of the anode
  • Bolt retaining washers prevent hardware from falling off during installation
  • Slotted stainless steel hardware included for straightforward installation
  • Suitable for use in salt and brackish water; aluminum alloy outperforms zinc in terms of electrochemical capacity
  • Also known as: C-3AL, C3AL, CMC3AL, RC1000A, LC-1000-ALU

The CMC03AL is part of CMP's Martyr limited clearance shaft anode series (CMC01–CMC15), purpose-built for vessels where standard barrel-style anodes won't fit due to tight shaft clearances. The aluminum construction makes it an ideal sacrificial anode choice for saltwater and brackish water boating, offering proven cathodic protection for iron, steel, and other metal components.

It was good

Greatly appreciate your prompt shipping

As always great experience. I have ordered from this place in the past and have never had a bad experience. Much appreciation to this company and the people who work there. Thanks again.

Very quick delivery

Had a great experience with no issues even when I had to return item

Good experience

I bought my item from them due to the original site I bought from kept telling me my item was back ordered and didnt know when they would have one. It was easy and painless to order and received my item in a timely matter. The price was good especially seeing what other sites were charging, not the lowest price but we'll worth the extra 20 bucks I paid. Will buy from them again if they have what I need.

I found the part I need for my boat at Boatplicity and placed the order. The price was fair and I received the part in just a few days. It was exactly the part I needed and worked great. I would recommend Boatolicity for all your boating needs.
