CMP CMX03AL Streamlined Aluminum Shaft Anode 1 Inch - Martyr CMX-3

The CMP Martyr CMX03AL is a streamlined aluminum sacrificial shaft anode engineered to deliver superior cathodic protection for inboard boat propeller shafts in salt and brackish water environments. Aluminum alloy construction offers greater electrochemical capacity than traditional zinc anodes, resulting in longer service life and more efficient corrosion protection.

Key Features:

• Aluminum alloy — formulated to meet or exceed U.S. Military Specification MIL-A-24779(SH); proven to outlast zinc due to increased capacity
• Streamlined, low-drag profile — reduces hydrodynamic resistance on rotating propeller shafts
• Interlocking halves — provide 100% circular shaft contact for maximum surface-area protection and a secure, snug fit
• Extra alloy around fasteners — extends usable anode life by protecting the most vulnerable areas near the hardware
• Stainless steel hardware included — bolt retaining washers prevent hardware from falling out during underwater installation
• 1 inch inner diameter — fits standard 1-inch propeller shafts on inboard vessels
• Dimensions: 1.00 in. ID × 2.16 in. OD × 2.15 in. height
• For use in salt and brackish water only — not recommended for fresh water applications

The CMX03AL is part of CMP's Martyr streamlined shaft anode series (CMX00–CMX09), offering easy installation that can be performed even underwater. Do not paint this anode, as it must remain bare metal to function correctly as a sacrificial anode.
