Demco 6484 Capture Plate Kit for Helux Pin Box and Autoslide Fifth-Wheel Hitches

The Demco 6484 Capture Plate Kit is designed specifically for use with the Helux pin box and Demco Autoslide fifth-wheel trailer hitches. This kit replaces the standard capture plates on your Demco Autoslide hitch, enabling full compatibility with the Helux-style suspension pin box for a secure and properly functioning connection.

Capture plates are a critical component of the Demco Autoslide system. They prevent the king pin from rotating or pivoting inside the fifth-wheel hitch jaw, ensuring the hitch's automatic slide mechanism can accurately read trailer angle and operate correctly. Without the proper capture plate matched to your pin box type, the Autoslide hitch may not function as intended.
