The Engineered Marine Products 93-06504 is a replacement recoil starter spring designed for outboard marine engines. This wound flat spring fits inside the recoil starter assembly and is responsible for rewinding the starter rope back into the housing after each pull, ensuring the engine is ready to start again.
Key Features:
A worn or broken recoil spring will prevent the starter rope from rewinding, leaving the engine unable to start. Replacing this spring with the EMP 93-06504 restores full recoil starter function. Note that installation of a recoil spring can be intricate; consulting the appropriate engine service manual is recommended.
