Johnson Pumps

About Johnson Pumps

For more than eight decades, Johnson Pumps has been synonymous with dependable marine pumping solutions. As part of the SPX FLOW family, Johnson Pump engineers products that serve everyone from weekend recreational boaters to demanding commercial vessel operators — making it one of the most trusted names on the water worldwide.

What sets Johnson Pump apart is a philosophy rooted in marine-specific design. Every pump in the lineup is built with corrosion-resistant materials, sealed components, and protection engineered against debris damage — the kind of real-world threats that cause lesser pumps to fail at critical moments. A modular design approach further simplifies maintenance and reduces the inventory of spare parts a boater needs to carry.

Bilge Pumps

At the core of the Johnson Pump catalog are its submersible and automatic bilge pumps. Available in cartridge, heavy-duty, and Ultima series configurations, these pumps range from compact 500 GPH units suited for smaller vessels to high-capacity 4,000 GPH workhorses built for offshore and commercial duty. Automatic models feature reliable float switches and electromagnetic activation that respond the moment water is detected — providing the kind of fail-safe performance that serious boaters depend on.

Washdown Pumps

The Aqua Jet series represents Johnson Pump's flagship line of washdown and water pressure pumps. Delivering up to 5.2 GPM at pressures up to five bar, these quiet, pulsation-free systems handle everything from deck washing on small cruisers to raw-water supply on larger commercial boats. The Aqua Jet lineup also includes combination livewell and washdown kits that simplify plumbing by sharing a single water intake.

Livewell & Aerator Pumps

Fishing enthusiasts trust Johnson Pump's livewell and aerator pump systems to keep bait and catch alive throughout the day. The Pro Series aerator pumps and dedicated baitwell models provide consistent water circulation and oxygenation, with designs optimized for low power draw so they won't tax your boat's battery bank on long days on the water.

Impellers & Replacement Parts

A key strength of the Johnson Pump brand is the depth of its genuine impeller and spare parts offering. Johnson's flexible impellers — including the proprietary MC97 compound — are engineered for maximum flow, long service life, and resistance to swelling. Using genuine OEM impellers ensures compatibility with the tight tolerances of Johnson pump housings and meets the quality standards required by engine manufacturers. Replacement motor cartridges for cartridge-style bilge and livewell pumps make field servicing fast and straightforward.

Circulation & Engine Cooling Pumps

Beyond bilge and deck systems, Johnson Pump produces a range of circulation and engine cooling pumps for both raw-water and closed-loop applications. The CM series of magnetically driven circulation pumps — available in brush and brushless motor variants — deliver smooth, quiet operation ideal for heating loops, bait-chilling systems, and other onboard circulation duties.

Why Choose Johnson Pumps?

Over 80 years of dedicated marine pump engineering experience

Part of the global SPX FLOW group, with ISO 9001-certified manufacturing

Corrosion-resistant, marine-grade materials built for fresh and saltwater environments

Low noise, low power draw, and minimal maintenance design philosophy

Comprehensive genuine spare parts and global service network support

Trusted by OEM boat builders and aftermarket customers worldwide

Product Details

The Johnson Pumps Aqua Jet II WPS is a compact, high-performance five-chamber diaphragm water pressure pump designed for marine, RV, and small vessel freshwater pressure systems. Delivering 2.9 GPM (11 L/min) at 12V DC, with a pressure cut-off of 40 PSI (2.8 bar), this pump provides reliable, consistent water pressure for galleys, showers, and onboard plumbing.

The updated Aqua Jet II generation builds on the proven WPS diaphragm platform with an integrated pressure switch that automatically starts the pump when a tap is opened and shuts it off once demand stops. The five-chamber displacement design dramatically reduces pulsation and noise compared to conventional pumps, even at low flow rates.

Key Features:

 • Flow Rate: 2.9 GPM / 11 L/min
 • Voltage: 12V DC
 • Max Current Draw: 10 Amps
 • Pressure Cut-In: 25 PSI (1.7 bar)
 • Pressure Cut-Off: 40 PSI (2.8 bar)
 • Motor: 85-watt with PP/PPA pump body
 • Diaphragm Material: Santoprene
 • Valve Material: EPDM
 • Port Connection: BSP fittings (includes hose barb adapters)
 • Self-priming design for easy installation
 • Compatible with both fresh water and salt water
 • Integrated automatic pressure switch — no external switch required

For optimal performance and to extend pump life, installation with an accumulator tank is recommended. Always use a PUMProtector inlet strainer upstream of the pump intake. Ideal for shower, galley, and general onboard water pressure applications on boats and RVs.

Easy transaction

The product was just what I ordered and arrived ahead of scheduled delivery date. Thanks.

I've had nothing but oof experiences doing business with THMotorsports. Best price for spark plugs out of anyone else. Fastest shipping with reasonable rates.

Wasn't happy with the extra charges for handling. Do not see that until I paid it.

The only issue was the shipping straps on both shocks were broken on one end only! Made it more difficult to install! But for the price I can't complain much! Thanks

Good price.

Awesome
