CMP CMC02 Limited Clearance Zinc Shaft Anode 7/8 Inch ID for Saltwater

The CMP CMC02 is a zinc sacrificial shaft anode engineered specifically for inboard propeller shafts in saltwater environments where radial clearance is restricted. Its compact, low-profile collar design provides reliable cathodic protection for propeller shafts and rudder assemblies without requiring the space needed by standard-profile shaft anodes.

Key Features:

• Saltwater Use Only — Zinc alloy formulation is optimized for marine saltwater cathodic protection
• Limited Clearance Design — Low-profile collar fits shaft/rudder anode applications where space is restricted
• Dimensions: 7/8 inch (0.875") Inner Diameter × 2.36" Outer Diameter × 1" Height
• Interlocking Halves — Two-piece split collar design for easy installation on shaft without removing hardware
• Included Hardware: Allen head lock washer and bolt retaining washer for secure mounting
• Sacrificial Protection — Zinc anode corrodes preferentially, protecting the propeller shaft and surrounding metal components from galvanic corrosion

The CMC02 installs directly onto a 7/8 inch propeller shaft using its interlocking two-piece construction, eliminating the need to disassemble the drivetrain for replacement. The included Allen head hardware and retaining washer keep the anode securely clamped to the shaft during operation. Replace when approximately 50% consumed to maintain continuous galvanic protection.
