CMP CMMP586A Max Power Aluminum Bow Thruster Sacrificial Anode MPOP5390

The CMP CMMP586A is an aluminum sacrificial anode designed to protect Max Power bow thruster components from galvanic corrosion in salt and brackish water environments. As a direct replacement for the MPOP5390, this compact puck-style anode mounts to the propeller nut area of the thruster to shield metal components from electrochemical deterioration.

Aluminum anodes are the preferred choice for salt and brackish water use, offering superior electrochemical protection compared to zinc anodes of equivalent size while remaining environmentally responsible. The aluminum alloy formulation actively corrodes in place of the thruster's more expensive metal parts, extending the service life of the unit.

Key Features:

• Aluminum construction — ideal for salt and brackish water applications
• Designed for Max Power bow thruster propeller nut and thruster anode positions
