CMP CMMP676A Max Prop Ogive Aluminum Sacrificial Anode 3.01" OD

The CMP Martyr CMMP676A is an aluminum sacrificial anode designed specifically for Max Prop variable-pitch propellers. Engineered in an ogive (cone-cap) profile, this anode mounts over the propeller hub to provide targeted cathodic protection to the propeller assembly, preventing galvanic corrosion damage to submerged metal components.

Key Features:

• Aluminum alloy construction — optimized for use in salt and brackish water environments, offering longer service life than zinc in these conditions
• Ogive (cone) profile — purpose-built shape to fit Max Prop hub geometry for a secure, low-drag installation
• Dimensions: 3.01" (76.5 mm) outer diameter × 1-1/2" (38 mm) height with 1/4" inner bore
• Manufactured to meet or exceed U.S. Military alloy specifications
• Precision cast for consistent, even consumption and predictable wear
• Part of the Martyr Anodes line — the only manufacturer offering zinc, aluminum, and magnesium anode alloys for all water types

Sacrificial anodes like the CMMP676A corrode preferentially in place of critical metal parts, protecting propellers, shafts, and related hardware from the effects of electrolysis and galvanic corrosion. Replace when the anode is approximately 70% depleted. Sold individually.
