Attwood Marine 99181 Sport/Diver Ladder Transom Mounting Extension Shim 2"

The Attwood Marine / Garelick 99181 is a 2" transom mounting extension shim designed for use with Garelick Sport and Diver transom-mount boarding ladders. This shim bracket moves the ladder mounting surface 2" farther from the transom, providing additional clearance for feet and outboard motor trim — particularly useful on boats with vertical transoms.

Key Features:

• Extends ladder mounting position 2" farther from the transom for improved foot clearance and trim room
• Constructed from electropolished stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance in harsh marine environments
• Bracket face dimensions: 2.75" W x 3.62" H
• Overall depth (extension provided): 2"
• Designed to work under Standard Transom Ladder Mounts (Garelick #99180), which are included with Garelick Sport/Diver ladders
• Compatible with the face plate and 10-degree poly spacer (part #99180) included with the ladder
• Especially recommended for boats with near-vertical transoms where standard mounting creates insufficient clearance

The Garelick 99181 transom extension shim is the correct accessory when your sport or diver ladder sits too close to the hull, obstructing foot placement or restricting motor trim. Simply install this shim between the transom and the standard ladder mount brackets to gain the needed standoff distance. Sold as a pair of shim brackets.
