The Taylor Made AnchorShade III is a versatile 6 ft. x 6 ft. square umbrella-style boat shade designed to work on almost any vessel, from small fishing boats to larger high-performance models. Built for use while anchored or at idle speed in calm conditions, it delivers reliable UV protection wherever the day takes you — on the water, at the dock, or on the beach.
Constructed from durable UV-treated nylon stretched over large-diameter solid fiberglass structural ribs, the AnchorShade III is mildew-resistant, fade-resistant, and blocks 85–90% of the sun's harmful UV rays. The powder-coated aluminum frame resists corrosion and won't rust even when scratched, ensuring long-lasting marine-grade performance.
Setup is fast and intuitive thanks to the Sur-Lock push-up mechanism and a four-point locking height adjuster that extends the pole up to 8 feet tall, accommodating both standing and seated configurations. A market-style vented top allows hot air to escape while maintaining full coverage. Five adjustable tie-down straps with non-corrosive hardware keep the shade securely anchored in winds under 10 mph.
