Epifanes MU3126.750 Monourethane Buff Yacht Paint 750ml

The Epifanes Monourethane Yacht Paint in Buff (#3126) is a one-component, air-dry, ultra high-gloss topside finish engineered on a urethane-alkyd resin base. Designed for demanding marine environments, it delivers the application ease of a traditional enamel combined with the hard durability of a urethane resin coating — making it the hardest one-component yacht paint available.

Key Features:

• Ultra high-gloss, single-part (1K) urethane-alkyd formulation
• Outstanding abrasion and chemical resistance
• Superior weather durability, UV protection, and long-lasting color retention
• Fresh and salt water resistant with rapid wet-film drying
• Dry to touch in 12 hours at 65°F (18°C); recoatable in 24 hours
• Apply by brush, roller, or spray
• Coverage: approximately 120 sq. ft. per 750ml at 1.5 mil dry film thickness
• Suitable for fiberglass (FRP), wood, steel, and aluminum
• For use above the waterline — topsides and interiors

Surface Compatibility: Can be applied directly to thoroughly degreased and sanded fiberglass, over existing one-component primers and topcoats, and over thoroughly sanded two-component polyurethane finishes. Not compatible with epoxy primers or coatings. When epoxy primer is present, apply Epifanes Polyurethane Primer as an intermediate coat.

Surface Preparation: Degrease surfaces with Epifanes Thinner D-601. Sand prior to application with 220-grit sandpaper. Apply 3 full-bodied finish coats for best results.

Epifanes Monourethane is available in a range of rich, high-gloss stock colors, with custom colors available upon request. Color #3126 Buff is offered in the 750ml size (MU3126.750).
