The Southco E6-10-101-20 is a small-size adjustable torque position control hinge from Southco's E6 series, constructed from acetal copolymer in a natural black finish. Designed for enclosures, panels, and doors, this hinge gives users the ability to define and fine-tune the operating effort needed to move or hold a panel in place — without additional hardware or installation costs.
With symmetric torque, the hinge delivers equal resistance in both the opening and closing directions, providing consistent, predictable panel positioning in any application. The thread stud and nut mounting system enables a clean, professional installation with the option to conceal hardware for an uncluttered appearance.
Key Features:
- Adjustable torque lets users dial in the exact operating effort required
- Symmetric torque design: 0.248 Nm (2.19 in-lbf) forward and reverse
- Small size with 1" leaf height and 1.2" open width
- Acetal copolymer construction offers corrosion resistance and durability
- Thread stud and nut installation with concealed mounting hardware option
- No access restriction — full range of motion
- Minimum cycle performance: 20,000 cycles within ±20% of static torque specification
- No lock-in / lock-out feature; non-removable pin
The Southco E6 series is well-suited for a broad range of industries including aerospace, bus, construction equipment, off-highway vehicles, farm equipment, electronic enclosures, exhibits, signs, and food service equipment.
