Fortress Anchors FX-55 MUDPALMSET Replacement Mud Palm Set for FX-55 Anchor

The Fortress Anchors FX-55 MUDPALMSET is a pair of original replacement mud palms engineered specifically for the FX-55 anchor. Compatible with red logo FX-55 anchors (2006 and newer) only. Each set includes the mounting hardware needed for installation.

What Are Mud Palms?

Mud palms are aluminum plates that bolt directly onto the crown of the anchor. They increase the surface area of the crown, creating a "lift" effect that causes the flukes to point more directly toward the seabed. This design helps the anchor set faster and more reliably in soft mud and other challenging sea bottom conditions.

Key Features:

• Original replacement mud palms designed specifically for the FX-55 anchor
• Bolts onto the crown of the anchor for a secure, reliable fit
• Increases crown surface area to improve hold in soft, muddy sea bottoms
• Helps flukes engage the seabed more directly for faster setting
• Includes mounting hardware (2 metal plates, 8 nuts, and 8 bolts)
• Compatible with red logo FX-55 anchors manufactured in 2006 and newer

Whether you're anchoring in soft mud, silt, or other yielding sea bottoms, these mud palms restore your FX-55 anchor's full performance. Sold as a pair — one complete set per anchor required.
