Pettit Paint 1652008 Urethane Prime Activator - Quart

The Pettit Paint 1652008 Urethane Prime Activator (652Q) is the dedicated two-part activator component for Pettit's Ikonikolor Pro acrylic urethane primer system. Designed specifically for marine applications, this activator catalyzes the primer base to deliver superior adhesion, chemical resistance, and corrosion protection on a wide range of substrates including fiberglass, gelcoat, properly etched or primed metal, and previously painted two-part paint surfaces.

When mixed with the Ikonikolor Pro urethane primer base at a 3:1 ratio (3 parts base to 1 part activator), this activator initiates a fast-cure, cross-linked finish that creates a uniform, high-build foundation ideal for topcoat application. The resulting primed surface enhances gloss retention and adhesion of Pettit's professional-grade topside finishes.
