Pettit Paint 1920008 EXP Clear Coat Base Quart

The Pettit EXP Clear Coat Base is a high-performance, two-part linear polyurethane clear topcoat designed for use in marine and boat finishing applications. Engineered to deliver exceptional gloss, UV resistance, and long-lasting durability, this clear coat is ideal for protecting and enhancing previously painted surfaces or bare substrates that require a transparent, high-build finish.

As part of Pettit's EXP topcoat system, this base component is mixed with its corresponding activator to create a chemical-resistant, hard-curing finish that rivals factory-applied marine paint systems. The result is a crystal-clear, high-gloss surface that resists weathering, saltwater exposure, and UV degradation — keeping your vessel looking its best season after season.

Key Features:

• High-gloss, crystal-clear two-part polyurethane clear coat
• Outstanding UV resistance for long-term color and gloss retention
• Excellent chemical, salt water, and weather resistance
• Bonds to a wide variety of substrates including fiberglass, wood, and previously painted surfaces
• Part of the Pettit EXP two-part topcoat system — requires separate activator
• Sold as a quart (base component only)

The Pettit EXP Clear Coat Base is the professional choice for boaters and marine finishing specialists who demand a durable, showroom-quality clear finish. Always use with the appropriate Pettit EXP activator and follow manufacturer mixing ratios for best results.
