The Sierra Gimbal Bearing is a replacement gimbal bearing for MerCruiser stern drives. It supports the drive shaft where it passes through the transom assembly and the gimbal housing. Replacing a worn gimbal bearing helps keep the drive running smoothly and helps prevent vibration and noise.
Key Features:
A worn or dry gimbal bearing can cause vibration, noise, and eventual damage to the drive shaft and nearby components. Replace it during stern drive service or when you reinstall the drive. Choose the part number that matches your drive model.

must enter card YEAR before it allows entering card MONTH - very confusing. (code needs rewritten to ask year first - not month.
