3M Trizact Hookit Foam Disc

The 3M Trizact Hookit Foam Disc is a foam-backed abrasive sanding disc for refinishing. It is used for defect removal and for refining paint surfaces before polishing. The disc uses 3M Trizact precision-shaped abrasive technology and a Hookit hook-and-loop attachment system. This makes it a good choice for automotive paint correction, sanding and finishing.

Key Features:

• Trizact precision-shaped abrasive: Uniform, pyramid-shaped abrasive structures wear down gradually to expose fresh mineral. This gives a consistent scratch pattern throughout the life of the disc.
• Foam backing: The flexible foam interface conforms to curved and contoured surfaces. It helps reduce the risk of sand-through on edges and body lines.
• Hookit attachment system: The hook-and-loop backing allows quick, secure disc changes on compatible backup pads. This helps keep workflow efficient.
• Consistent finish: The disc leaves a uniform, refined scratch pattern. This can cut the time needed for compounding and polishing.
• Long-lasting performance: The abrasive is designed to stay consistent and resist loading. This can mean fewer disc changes than with conventional abrasives.

3M is a trusted name in collision repair and paint finishing. Trizact Hookit foam discs help body shops and detailers get professional-quality results on clear coat and paint surfaces.
