Sierra Water Pump Base for Mercury/Mariner Outboard Motors

The Sierra water pump base (also called a water pump housing or pump base) is a replacement part for the outboard cooling system on Mercury and Mariner outboard motors. The water pump base holds the impeller and the pump cartridge components. It helps move cooling water through the powerhead, so it plays a direct role in keeping engine temperatures under control.

Key Features:

• Aftermarket replacement designed for Mercury and Mariner outboard cooling systems
• Provides a solid seat for the impeller and related pump components
• Built to hold up to the heat, vibration and water exposure of marine use
• Part of the Sierra marine product line, which covers engine, drive and cooling components
• Useful during a water pump rebuild or when the original base is worn, corroded or damaged

Sierra has a long record of making aftermarket marine parts to meet or exceed OEM standards. Replacing a worn water pump base along with the impeller and gaskets helps restore cooling flow and supports reliable outboard performance.
