Sierra Marine Thermostat for Yamaha Outboard Engines

The Sierra Marine Thermostat is a replacement outboard thermostat for Yamaha outboard engines. It regulates engine coolant flow so the powerhead reaches and holds its proper operating temperature. Sierra offers this line as an aftermarket alternative to the original equipment thermostat for routine maintenance and repair.

Key Features:

• Opens and closes at a calibrated temperature to control coolant flow and keep engine temperature steady
• Helps prevent overheating and the overcooling that causes poor performance, incomplete combustion and extra engine wear
• Built for marine use, with materials chosen to withstand heat, moisture and corrosion
• Made as a direct replacement for the original Yamaha outboard thermostat
• Backed by Sierra, a long-established supplier of marine engine parts

A thermostat that is worn or stuck can cause overheating, rough running or slow warm-up. Replacing it during regular service helps protect your outboard. Check the individual listings in this product line for the exact part number, thermostat temperature rating and any included gaskets or seals.
